As someone with extremely thick black hair, I came in hoping to get a bleaching and to thin my hair out to take some weight off. Alice was so wonderful! She was able to style my hair just how I had asked, and bleached my hair where it didn’t damage. She was so outgoing and nice as well – great service. Thank you, I definitely recommend this place!

I moved here recently from California..chose R!ah because of their Aveda products (much more natural)..Loree became my stylist..She is a Renoir, Rembrandt, Chagall, tinted with a hint of Van Gogh !!! There’s a cut that’s popular in California, which is not know in the midwest…I explained it to Loree, She listened carefully.. did it to perfection!!!

I recently moved back to Rochester and when looking for a new place to get my hair done, I came across R!ah. My blind appointment was with Kalli and I couldn’t be happier. She is a great communicator and asks all the right questions to ensure I get exactly what I want. She is skilled, kind, and the end result is always amazing! I highly recommend her and R!ah!

After moving to Rochester last year and trying two other hair salons, I finally got what I wanted when I went to r!ah. Thank you to Kylie who not only did a great job with my hair, she even worked with the owner since I didn’t schedule the correct hair appt (I am new to dying my hair). Anyway, her and the owner (Sara I think that day) both worked to fit me in, and when we were done I couldn’t stop smiling when I looked in the mirror! Will for sure be coming back and recommending this place to anyone looking for the best hair salon in Roch:)

I have had the same dumpy hairstyle for years, pulled on top of my head with a ponytail holder. Life was busy and I just didn’t worry about my hair. I came to R!ah hoping for a change and was very fortunate to meet Sara. Sara listened to what I was wanting, looked at the photos I brought in, talked about what would work with my hair and proceeded to make it happen. And she was nice, too. My hair has never looked so good! I feel pretty today! I am very thankful and will be returning for future appointments. Thank you, Sara!
