r!ah Hair Studio

I wanted a stylist to help me gracefully transition to my natural color…gray! Sara expertly incorporated highlights as my hair grew. Since then, she has adjusted to my every whim…longer, shorter, piecier. She, and her staff, are true professionals. When closed due to the virus, they offered curb-side product pickup. Since re-opening, I have felt comfortable going there, knowing that they adhere to all safety protocols.

I came to R!ah with bright yellow hair, with dark roots from a grown out self dye job (ugh). I’m starting a new job on Monday and just needed some hair TLC to look like a professional. Heather did an amazing job foiling and toning my hair to give me ash blonde locks. Heather and the rest of the staff all wore face masks, sanitized their stations and sinks between clients and sanitized clients’ hands upon entry to the salon. They also have you call when you arrive, and then come out to get you , in order to ensure the number of people inside at one time is controlled. Finally… I loved the ease of booking online. So convenient!!

She made me feel so comfortable and pampered. I have curly hair and try to avoid haircuts at all costs. Kady did a great job and really knew how to cut curly hair. She also gave me the most amazing scalp massage! I will definitely be returning

I love having my hair done at r!ah! In these crazy times, I appreciate all the precautions they take. It’s a lot of work, but Theresa takes the time to make my hair look great!

I have been looking for a quality place and I found it at r!ah! The quality was excellent. There was no rush to quickly get the hair coloring done. She took the time to understand the vision I had and followed through! Not only did she cut my hair but explained in detail about how to maintain and style my curly hair!

I was looking for a salon in the Rochester area that worked with extensions, as I had had them put in for my wedding and I needed them redone due to COVID. I stumbled across r!ah and then began following them on Instagram. Kelsey Kent’s work really stood out to me, so I sent her a message asking if she could get me on her books when they opened back up. She was so helpful and accommodating and she got me in as soon as she could. 8 months later..and I’m hooked! I won’t go anywhere else now. Kelsey is a guru with color! My blonde hair has never looked better. I would recommend Kelsey and r!ah hands down. It’s my new place!
