Lori has been in the salon industry for the last fifteen years. She started her career at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis. Her motivation to excel in her field led her to many advance education opportunities, starting with an internship at the Aveda Spa in Osceola, Wisconsin. She was able to work directly with Horst Rechelbacher, founder of Aveda Corporation. He saw raw talent in Lori and wanted to make her the best. He sent her to Toronto to apprentice with salon owner Ray Civello and his team. After leaving Toronto, Lori decided to return to her home in Minneapolis. While working as a stylist, she became a national hair color educator, and helped develop a major hair color line. Her most recent career goal became a reality when she opened Hair Studio. Lori’s knowledge of hair cutting and coloring paired with her essential goal that all clients’ leave the salon feeling beautiful has made her career a success. “I truly can’t imagine my life without this business. My clients are amazing people and it is always my pleasure to make their day.”
